Thank you all,and yes I will be at TMS for the rally.Hey David, you dont have to own a harley.I rode a Gold Wing for a lot of years. In fact that is still the bike of choice in the CMA.I will have to check the gallery, and see if there are any pics of me.I will let you know.God Bless........Spencer
LOVE THIS SITE... MY HUSBAND AND I USED TO RIDE A GOLD WING SEVERAL YEARS AGO.. TWO OF MY SONS HAVE HARLEYS... THIS SEEMS LIKE A WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION. I SURE WOULD LIKE TO SEE ONE START HERE IN N.C.
I USED TO BE A REAL RIDER THAT WAS THE MOST RELAXING THING I HAVE EVER DONE. WE WERE RIDING IN THE MOUNTAINS ONE SUNDAY AFTERNOON. MY HUSBAND RAN INTO SOME TRASH IN THE ROAD, THE BIKE STARTED SLIDING, WHEN HE GOT STOPPED, HE WAS RIGHT AT THE CLIFF ON MOUNTAIN TOP READY TO GO OFF. I WAS SCREAMING. NEITHER OF US EVER CLIMBED BACK ON A BIKE. BUT I REALLY HAVE MISSED IT.
My husband has truly enjoyed the motorcycle ministry that has visited a couple of the prisons where he has been housed. I don't know if those folks were part of the CMAUSA organization or not, but I suspect they were.
The last time The Yankee saw them, they brought Harleys inside the prison yard and let the inmates sit on them and have a Polaroid taken. That really meant a lot to the guys, especially my husband who has been dreaming of a Harley ride for the past 17 years.
Thanks for sharing and for giving your time to such a worthy cause!
