Prison Wedding Information

Hi everyone! I'm a new member and it's my first time posting a message. I would appreciate it if anyone can give me information about prison weddings in NY. I suspect not all facilities are consistent about their requirements.

What facility are you looking for information? Yes they all are a little different... I know for most of them the inmate needs to write for permission and the process goes from there...

Hi!

Yes the inmate must start the process by writing to the Superintendent. Each facility is a bit different, so definitely let us know where you are looking at doing this. I have a copy of the NYS DOC policy on marriage at home, so if you have any specific questions I have that to refer to for you. Good luck!

Please let me know what you need to know about prison weddings in NY. I was married at Eastern Correctional facility. Glad to hear it. Just make sure you fill out your membership introduction, profile and give an active email address. These are requirements for maintaining a membership.

Hi there! I have also a question about marriage in prison. My friend is a Death Row inmate in Florida. Now, I would gladly know, is in Death Row, in Raiford Florida a marriage admissible?

I would be pleased, when someone gives an answer to me.
