The Oregon Criminal Justice Reform Coalition (OCJRC) needs your suggestions for priorities for the 2005 legislative session. Action Alert members play a crucial role in the coalition's activities through letters and phone calls.
Want to be really involved? Here's an opportunity to help create change! The Oregon Criminal Justice Reform Coalition is organizing a Legislative Action Committee for the 2005 legislative session. The OCJRC will provide the training so that committee members will be able to work with legislators for criminal justice reform. Make sure to attend the November 8 meeting to learn more.
Join us for refreshments from 6:30 to 7:00. You'll have an opportunity to meet other Action Alert members and representatives from the groups that are a part of the Oregon Criminal Justice Reform Coalition. After an update about the 2005 legislative session, will be time to talk about what you think should change in the criminal justice system. We'll also announce more information about the Legislative Action Committee.
We look forward to seeing you on November 8. Please call or email Caylor at 503-335-8449 or Caylor @westernprisonproject.org to let her know you'll be there.
