Default Bob Barker Company

They are the leading manufacturer of Detention Facility Goods. They have an online catalog you can view. If you want to see what things look like on the inside, take a look around.

THat's neat to see. When Brant was in county, he didn't even get a pillow. He would have loved to have that pillow!!

The pillows are made of plastic outer covering. They are filled with air and not much else. Very hard to lay your head on . Also the mattresses have a sawdust filling. Not much to brag about in the comfort department. I was lucky to occassionally get some of the old pillow cases during clothing exchange though. I found they had been sewn with a coated thread and made good dental floss if I could pull a thread loose, as that was an item that was not available.

I always took and extra pillow case during linnen exchange, and never turned in my old ones becuase we did are own laundry. And just kept putting more pilow cases on. Finally after like 8 months my pillow was so heavy.

Great thread.

In Minnesota you are able to order stuff and have it sent in rather than buy at commissary? T was in CA prisons and would talk about the Bob Barker company.

We use Bob Barker at the detox facility where I work (hygiene products, shower shoes and clothes)----very cheaply made but I guess it works.

CET...Most everything in prison is ordered through commissary. The only things besides letters and money (put on the inmates acct) that are sent in are magazines and books (must be approved) They must be sent in from the publisher. I could not send a magazine in with my return address on it for instance.
