Here's a couple of poems that Wayne's written to me. He's so romantic!

In my quiet desert
A flower blooms,
Bringing unknown beauty
To that once barren place.
Joy untold,
Touching soft petals
Full of vibrant colour.
I breathe the fragrance of God.
Close your eyes.
Breathe, you are that flower.

Wrapped in ribbons of yellow,
Bound by rings of gold.
Stay with me forever my love,
As heaven will rain down gifts from above,
Soon I will be home to stay
Never again will I stray.

Clear blue skies
Fill your eyes
Warm summer wind
Gentle across your skin.
My soul softly
Embracing you
Caressing the woman
I have come to love.

He wrote this for our first wedding anniversary, he had been locked up 2 and 1/2 months at that time:

To my wife
words cannot convey the love
I feel in my soul
You are a compassionate wild flower in my life
with an honest heart
so faithful and
truly perceptive
a greatly valued companion
my jewel and soulmate forever
my joy, my best friend and
always lover of the one thing
I hold dear in my memory.
February 16, 2001 I married you.

He's also a very talented artist and these poems were all in cards he created. Hopefully soon I will be able to post some of his cards and drawings.
