The mission of the Noble Correctional Institution (NCI) is to function as a medium security, adult male facility, providing a safe, secure environment for the community, staff and offenders. NCI provides extensive offender programming for successful reentry into society and reduction of recidivism. Unique Programs
  • NCI's Crochet program makes baby afghans for local county "Help Me Grow" programs. "Help Me Grow" is an early start, early intervention, welcome home program offered to newborns with the premise that the first three years of a child's life are the building blocks for learning and development later in life. A baby afghan made by NCI's community service inmate volunteers becomes part of a welcome home package for each newborn.
  • Seeking Out Solutions (SOS) Program is an intensive outpatient program that provides treatment for inmates with substance abuse and/or use of alcohol and/or other drugs. The program is designed for inmates to understand thoughts and behaviors that are unhealthy and the learn behaviors and thinking patterns that will help them to be successful. The program will help them to stop criminal behaviors and to live clean and sober lifestyles.
Visiting Hours
  • Visiting is offered seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. by reservation only. Reservations may be made by calling (740) 732-5188 ext. 2178.
Visiting hours are subject to change without notice. Please call the institution to verify visiting hours before planning a visit.
