Default Here is a list of the best travel deal websites.

Please use this thread to post any information that may be helpful to members in making travel arrangements. I know there are some really good sites out there. If you have a particular one that you use, or know of one that gives really good deals, please let us know.

I usually use Travelocity when I make my travel plans. I really haven't found any other ones that beat it. I'd love to know if there are any though!

If you're open to going anywhere for a vacation...and not looking for specific flights or something... http://top20.travelzoo.com is awesome! They have a mix of the 20 best deals on the internet, updated every Wednesday at noon. They'll have all inclusive cruises, with airfare to Europe, the carribbean, etc. Even cheap car rentals, ridiculously low airfare. Just keep an eye out for one from your city!

If I fly I use www.southwest.com I have to drive to Indianapolis to fly out, but I save on the average of 300.00 by driving 100 miles to the airport than if I flew out of Cincinnati.

I used Airtran to reserve my air ticket and I could have gotten a better deal with cheat tickets. They charge you $50 for every and any change you make. I'll never use them again. My cousin told me about them and I should have went with my first instinct. My first plane trip and I didn't get the best deal.

Skyauction.com. Once I got a cruise for my mom and me for $750.00. That was ocean view, 5 nights, taxes, port charges and trip insurance. The price was for BOTH of us, not each of us. To the western Caribbean. Also got a 2 bedroom, gorgeous condo in Puerto Vallarta for $300 total once. Six of us shared that one.

www.vacationoutlet.com THis is the best and cheapest site for all inclusive exotic trips. I got a week all inclusive (Hotel, air, transfers, food, and booze) for 800.00 about a year ago. Have fun traveling!

If you are traveling internationally, like Mexico, Caribbean, Europe and Cruises, call a travel agent. There job is to find you the best deals available, and they usually price match, plus they do all the work for you. This is also true when traveling to Disney World, Disney Land, Las Vegas and Hawaii. If you just need air and hotel domestically you can normally get the same prices travel agents get. A few good sites for domestic travel are sidestep, hotwire, expedia, orbitz, travelocity, priceline. Also when you find the best price for your airfare, go to the airlines public site and check the fare, most of the time it is a little cheaper. Good Luck, and travel as much as you can, it helps break the monotany of every day life.

If your looking forward to adult entertainment I recommend you to the Caribbean where you can enjoy the company of European and Russian escorts. I discover this all inclusive resort a few years ago called charlisangels through an Orbitz's agent. That place is an all-inclusive resort where you can spend unforgettable moments in ocean front villa with 24 hours open bar and many more.. I have to admit that I found myself amuse by this place. Look forward to another unforgettable moment sometime this summer.

Arrow Websites, Free Apps (Android), Etc...

www.kayak.com: I don't find that much difference in prices anymore from one travel search site to the next, but I've used Kayak for a long time, and I'm just comfortable with the site. I have noticed, though, that they don't (always?) search Southwest Airlines...and I like Southwest Airlines. (In case you didn't know, Southwest doesn't charge fees for the first checked bag, and it doesn't charge fees for changing your flight either!!) Oh, and I LOVE Kayak's app!! Not only do you have the normal site stuff, but there's also airline information (including those all-important fees!!), airport information, a currency converter, etc. It rocks!!

www.skyscanner.com: This site DOES search Southwest, and it pretty close to Kayak to me, so I like to use it to compare. I don't use it or its app very much, but they're nice to have as backups.

www.booking.com: I like this hotel booking site, because I don't always have to pay in advance for my room. I can put in my billing information, but I won't be charged and can pay when I'm actually at the hotel. There's sometimes some important fine print on this site, though, so read carefully!

Note: I do find that sometimes hotel booking sites offer more flexible cancellation policies than the actual hotels do. That can be helpful at times. With that said, though, I usually use search sites for their information, but will then book directly on my chosen service provider's website. I GENERALLY like to know policies and fees and to see whether there are discounts available right from the source. But if the price is right, I'll book on almost any site!

www.hotwire.com: I generally use Hotwire for car rentals. With Hotwire, you sometimes make your booking before getting all of the details about the booking. I rarely care about my car rentals; I usually just need to get from Point A to Point B and back as cheaply as possible (but without breaking down!! ). Another thing about Hotwire is that you can sometimes figure things out -- or at least narrow things down -- regarding what your flight/hotel/etc. might wind up being. You can research the hotel options (if it's in a relatively small area); you can also sometimes figure out the flight if you use a flight schedules or flight timetables website. (I used to use a great one YEARS ago, but I can't remember it now. )

www.tripadvisor.com: Reviews, reviews, reviews!! Everything from places to go, to places to stay, to things to do, and more!! The tripadvisor app is fully functional and works very, very well.

www.tripit.com: This site (which also has an accompanying app) pulls all of the information from your trip's various confirmation e-mails and creates a detailed itinerary for you (and for sharing, if you want), complete with confirmation numbers, contact information, maps, directions, policies, etc. A travel lifesaver!!

www.timeout.com: If you're going to a popular city, looking on the TimeOut website and possibly getting one of their guides (or just buying the magazine when you land at your destination) can help give you a much richer travel experience. This mag is written by locals -- people who know all of the popular and off-the-main-track places to go and things to do in their cities. They're great guides for getting information about all sorts of stuff that you might not be able to find in a regular guide book. Before I moved from NYC, I had a subscription for many years, and it was definitely worth it. You're just able to get more of the inside scoop regarding your destination when you're referencing a TimeOut magazine.

Whew! I think that's about it! (Oh, and I like www.travelzoo.com as well. That site was mentioned in some of older posts on this thread, but they still have a great Top 20 Deals e-mail that comes out each week. I've never booked with them, but they usually seem to have really good packages!!)

Hope this helps someone at some point!! Bon voyage!!
