How do they know what facaility they will go to

Hi everyone My husbands court date was july 15th and they gave him two years - timed served. He is sitting in Potter Count Jail waiting to be taken to his new "home". How long will it be before he leaves. and will he know what place he will be going to before he leaves. I just want him home so bad. After this is over then we have to deal with Florida, but at least he will be closer to home. Our son and I miss him very much. Just need as much info as i can. What can I do here in florida to help him in texas. I will do whatever it takes to help get my man back home where he belongs

Hi, sorry to hear bout your hubby being so far away from you. From what I've experienced with my fiance they don't know exactly when they'll be shipped out they'll come the day before or on the day tell em to pack cause they're being shipped out and they won't even tell em where they are going. He'll find out when he gets there. When my baby moved I didn't hear nothing for 2 weeks cause he was being tranferred to unit after unit until finally getting to beaumont,tx. Just hang in there he'll write when he finds out where exactly he'll be..
