HELP! Need Phone Call Info....

I posted this under Billing Correctional Services, but thought I would get a better response making my own.

Does anyone know what the charges are for calls from Hutchinson Correctional Facility in Kansas calling the same town?

I finally got my 1st call and we got to talk for 2 hours then the recording came on "You have 1 min. left". I didn't like hearing that.....

Just curious and don't want to wait for the bill....would like to have myself prepared ahead of time!

It should be pretty simple to find out what the costs of your calls are but first I need some more information.

This kinda confuses me. To only have 1 minute left??? Did he call you directly or did you have to accept a collect call? If it's a collect call you can call your MCI, Sprint, At & t ect..provider and ask what a collect phone call will cost for approximately 2 hours from this location to this location.

My son is in prison in Lincoln, Nebraska. He can make 1 call a day, collect, and only has 15 minutes. Every call says you have 1 minute left, but when the phone bill comes sometimes they are 10 mins long, or 12, 13, 9, etc. I pay $3.25 for 15 minutes, which I thought was pretty good since a 15 minute call from the county jail could cost up to $15.00!
