Hello, I live in California but my boyfriend is serving his sentence in Lincoln, Nebraska. According to current NDCC rules, conjugal visits are not allowed. I suggest you refer to the Nebraska Correctional website, it has quite a bit of information and I found it very helpful. The website address is www.corrections.state.ne.us. Please feel free to send me a private message if you have any other questions. Meshell

Hello. I am wanting info from any or all about lincoln correctional center. He has just been sent there from the evaluation center. I am concerned about his treatment from other inmates and officers because of his conviction of child abuse resulting in death. A 2 yr old died.

Default sorry

im not sure what to tell you about the laws and regulations but i would certainly have him be put in protective custody because the inmates frown upon stuff like that. i know for a fact that he will have problems for sure....sorry! thats my opinion......and i know you'll probably hear things you dont like but you have to face it honey, but in reguards to you, keep your head up and let fate run its course.......

Default what kind of "problems"?

You can be honest, what exactly are the types of "problems" do you refer?
Do other inmates "know who he is" and what he has done when he first arrives there? Proctective custady, does that mean total seclusion from the inmates, or is he with other similar type offenders.

protective custody basically means he cant be around other inmates....i have a lot of friends and family in the prison system and when they here of things that that especially meaning with a child they want blood. is he the one that killed her because she wet the bed? my husband is in county right now and there is a similar case with a two year old. any ways every one in there degrades this guy and wants to hurt him. he is behind glass and no one can be out at the same time as him for his saftey. i am sure they will know who he is and why he is there cause the guards have big mouths. sorry to all the guards out there but you all do gossip. i think the best thing for him is either run the rest of his life or take his consequences cause as soon as a couple people beat his ass they will leave him a lone after awhile and let him live his life. thats my opinion....and i asked my brother and my husband and thats what tey also agreed to. sorry for what happened! i hope this dont break you down cause he will need someone there for him.....any ways keep your head up and stay strong for yous both.....

Default thanks preciosa

He is the one who put the boy in the scalding bath. It happened just over a year ago, trial by jury in april, and he just got to the LCC. If your guys have any info, I will always be wondering.... Thank you for taking the time, and your compassion is heartfelt.
