Talking 6 months tommorrow

Hi Everyone!! Tommorrow I celebrate 6 months clean and sober!! I cant believe I have made it this far. 6 months ago we were selling our house and running from our addiction with our 4 kids, Then my husband was arrested. I still had to sell the house, he stayed locked up, CYF came and took the kids. I got clean in my van, I had no one, I had lost it all. Somehow I stayed clean until my CYF D/A evaluation and started Greenbriar treatmen. Stayed in the car until I had the courage to go to a shelter. I graduated Greenbriar after 15 weeks, I got a job, I got my taxes done!! I signed a lease last sunday, the kids can come home soon. My husband has done ok, he was sentenced to 2 yrs probation but is waiting for his PVH on March 8th I am praying he gets out, I think this is the new start we have been needing for years. If he has to stay in we have to move ahead. I visit him and talk on the phone when I can afford it. So anyone out there struggling, it does get better I swear!!! Just hold on tight and keep coming back!!!

Such an amazing post!

I am so, so happy for you and your success. You picked yourself up off the ground and kicked some ass and took some names!

Good luck on your journey forward...I hope your kids are inspired by you
