D@mn Block!!!!

My husband has been in and out of jail/prison for about 2 years now and we usually keep up on the bill but now we have a block on my phone for a $700.00 phone bill from him calling. It's pay-tel company and it's $1.05 per call for 10 minutes each call. That's not bad but when he starts calling 12-13 times a day, it adds up. But now I am upset because there is a block on my phone and I don't have $700.00 to pay the bill. I have to pay it all off or they won't turn it back on. It's crazy but now the only way we can talk on the phone is if we get somebody to do a 3 way and I have to pay $20.00 a week to the person to do that every week, when she only does it like 2 times a week. 3 way in nc is only 75 cents plus the 1.05 for the call. But anyways I just wanted to vent my frustration so thanks to anyone who actually reads this!

i had a block on my phone the other day. They wouldn't let me do a check by phone so I had my regular phone company call MCI and they told them that we had several high phone bills and they have always been paid before the due date and they took the block off. You might try that.
