If you look up harris county sheriffs office and enter his name you can get his location and spn number (and cell block) so you can write. other than that you have to call inmate services to get your phone cleared for calls.

like i said its the newer one out there. good luck on getting anyone on the phone though. its only 20min visits and through a little hole in the glass and you have to fight to be heard and to hear. hopefully he will be cleared and not have to stay there very long. if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask

They get 15 minute daily visits there, and they are cuffed during visits

They also get phone privelidges as well.
I have a friend that has been there, and is going back there.

my husband wasnt cuffed during visits. that is only if they are trouble makers. our visits where for 20 minutes and you get 15 minute phone calls. i will tell you the security getting in there is worse than trying to get into a prison. dont have any underwires on a bra!!! go with no jewerly or metal at all... its like fort knox!

my boyfreind was in both 701 san jacinto and 1200 baker street... both for 1 1/2 each.. i can say that 701 is not a good jail.. for visitors or inmates.. The visits are short and crowded unless you go in the morning on the weekends and usually smell nasty.. and the gaurds are rude.. but you we get 20 min. phone calls... and depending on the guards and when you go and see them and how full your visit might be 15 minutes or up too 30 minute...then he got moved to baker street for medical reasons... depression and anxiety.. the jail is alot nicer..cleaner, never takes long to get up to visit... the medal detectors take a little longer to get through.... but its not bad... and the gaurds seem to be nicer.. my man says he enjoyed that jail ALOt more then the other ones...he sounded and looked ALOt better.. but he just got moved on monday to TDC somewhere... hope this helps

My boyfriend just left baker St. jail. In my opinion, it is one of the better ones in Harris county. He was there for a little over 9 months. Depending on what their conduct is depends on how your visit will be. Like some men are cuffed and some are not. You get a 20 minute visit everyday. The place smells kind of funny...but what jail smells good? I went and saw my boyfrined at least twice a week and the guards are generally pretty nice. I hope that all goes well for you!

MLK, Do you know of any programs they offer in Harris county jail? It seems my son will be spending some time there so we think before he gets transfered.
