boy kris, do I ever feel bad now. I pigged out all day long. Amir sent me one of his commissary lists before. I had forgotten how depressing it was. I hate the fact that in so many ways I am ineffective in helping him.

your welcome! I have accumlated a lot of information that I tend to find interesting and helps me feel more a part of my husbands life. I will keep posting information when I get it!

I know what you mean about the whole money thing. I didn't realize until I looked at the list how he could go through his money.

Wow! The camp Robert was in only gave them $12.00 a month. I can see now how he would need more money. That is so sad!

Kristen,

Can I mail this commissary to my son? He is fairly new to his facility and have not received a price list yet. By the way, thanks for sharing this information. Take care. PEACE!

cyndie,
I think that you should be able to mail it to him. my husband mailed it to me and i have mailed it to another unit. the only thing they would really do is deny it right so i say give it a try. you could probably write something about this is a price list that you have seen and wanted to share it with him. i saw in another thread where you wrote that it was too long to print out. if you let me know what program you have like works or word i can email it to you after i put it in columns if you like

To post it without having to type it all in click the "Go Advanced" button rather than the "Post Quick Reply" button and from the screen that opens ckick on the "Manage Attachments" button and a new window will pop up from which you can upload different file types as an attachment to your post. File size limits for each type are shown on in the pop up window. Once the file is uploaded you can close the pop up, type out your message and click "Submit Reply".

Oh lordy...I knew Ryan went through money at a pretty good clip, now I totally understand why. I think that I will be upping his monthly allowance as well. Thanks so much for the information. Of course, I am taking in to account that this list is 10 years old and making adjustments in the prices.

Just an FYI, the list that krisintx posted is from 2002! Be sure to look at the end of threads for more current info. For instance, in the post just before yours, there's a 2012 list!

I'm closing this thread up so that the current list will be available rather than this (very old) one.

Current list (March 2012)
