Corcoran SHU - visiting question

I just received a letter that my man was moved yesterday to Corcoran from High Desert. He's going to the SHU in Corcoran - I am trying to get some information regarding visiting - colors not allowed/clothes, phone number for visiting and any hotels close by.

I will be coming from the Sacramento area and trying to get an idea of what the drive will be like.

Hello it's me. The prison number is: 1-559-992-8800. The visiting extension is 5700. The appointment extension is 5720 Sat-Sun from 10am-2pm.

The visitng info line:1-800-374-8474. You press 1 at the first recording; 4 at the second recording; and 1 at the third recording. This will give you all the information about Old Corcoran.

The hotel that I stay at is the Corcoran Country Inn. It's all right for one night. They offer a prison discount if you ask for it. The number is: 1-559-992-5724. There is also The Budget Inn but I don't stay there because they don't have MTV or a pool.

Does anyone have the address to the prison? CDC Corcoran website is down. Also, when I get to the prison, is it pretty easy to find the visitor parking? I have a 1:00 pm appt on the 10th.
