Default http://www.idoc.state.il.us/ (When do they update)

Does anyone know how long it takes from the time a person gets to Stateville till their profile on this web site is updated? My husband got there yesterday at about 10am, they changed the top portion about where he is and added his picture, but his projected parole date, etc, all still says 99/99/9999. Just wondering how long that may take as we have no idea when he may be coming home and have waited for 5 years now while he was doing time in WI. He doesn't have a current lawyer, and the one from 3 years ago is not around anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

So sorry, can't help but there's sure to be someone who can later. When Tony left the Row it took about 2 weeks to update that.

Thanks Rose. This is just so nerve wracking. I have waited 5 years and now I am having trouble waiting any longer, you know? I will survive, but will those who have to be around me?

Oh I know that feeling well, and it's no good anyone saying 'calm down and wait' because it just doesn't happen. Again, when the Row was emptied it was weeks before any of us heard from our men so, I can really sympathize with you.

Well, thank you but you'd be surprised what you can take when you really have to. I'm not saying it was easy, as any of the women will tell you, but we knew the transition would be harder on the men than us. They would have all sorts of problems and we had to stay strong, we couldn't allow ourselves to fall apart. You'd do it if you had to, believe me, I'm nothing special.

I know what you're saying because I my (then fiance - now husband) was facing 120 years. He is a very sensitive person and I wasn't always sure he would make it, and I know about being strong for him.
Anyway, I admire your spirit. As I do the other women I have read things from on this site. Just wanted to let you know.
(And by the way... you ARE special, anyone with love enough to wait is INDEED special.)

It took approximately 5-6 months before Sebastians info changed on the website. He was at Stateville from September 2003 until March 2004 when he transferred to Illinois River.

it only took about a week for my soulmates profile to change. When he first got to stateville his picture changed right away. Then about a week later all the 99/99/9999 went away and everything was updated!!! So it shouldnt take long......

Well, the site was updated last night. They have his projected parole date as 04/16/2006! That is exactly 2 years, which is half his 4 year sentence, but the judge gave him credit for time served in jail, which was 16 months! Anyone know if this was just a mistake or if I will need to get a lawyer to make sure they go by what the judge ordered? I am not happy.

Don't fret... that's what I meant in my post above. The projected parole date may not change for several months. I got awfully tired of waiting but it did eventually.

Thanks Patty. I keep hearing that he should only be there 61 days, and that would make sense with his credit and good time and all. It is so hard not being able to talk to him, though. I can't wait to get a letter from him!!!! They told me I could send him stamped envelopes, so I did, along with a few sheets of paper. He can not have commisary since he is in there for evaluation and all.
