Update on Tele-Net phone

Ok Everyone~ It's me again and you should all be like totally sick of me by now
Let me try and explain what all has happened to me and Tele-Net.

I sent Tele-Net my money and within 1 week I got my number. I have had NO problems with Tele-Net thus far.

Tony added my Oklahoma Number to his list today Monday 11/4.
He can not use it I used my cell phone to call the Oklahoma number and it does work and rings here at my house WoooHooo.

The prison told Tony that I needed to call T-Netix the company that had the prison phones and tell them to unblock this new number.

Now this is where I had trouble....I called the 800 number ALL afternoon and when I finally got someone they told me the "system" was down and I had to call back.

I called back tonight and after being on hold for almost 1 hour I finally got a LIVE PERSON! (almost fainted)
They informed me they do not handle Davis Correction Fac. That it is a SBC account and I needed to call South Western Bell C. <---what ever that is.
They did give me the 800 number for SBC though.

I called SBC and got ahold of them in less then 5 mins.
The lady was awesome and told me that Tony should beable to call this number I have within the next 24 to 72 hours..

Please hold your breaths, cross your fingers, say a prayer, everything for me

Renee could you please email the information on the phone company you are using. I have a very close friend in Lexington Ok and for him to call it is 35.00 for 30 mins. I have checked with every phone company I could fined. Including SWB to set up an access line only to hear we don't handle OK.

So please send me the information on the company you are using and also let me know how it works.

Hey Hey! WOW and I thought 17.50 was bad! I used Tele-Net.
I got the information about them from PTO
Fed is right be sure to tell them PTO sent you to them...
I handed out like 40 cards for them at the prison a week ago and hand wrote PTO's web page address on them all
You just never know whom might wonder in.

Thank you for the information. I will make sure and tell them PTO sent me. Hopefully they won't give me the answer everyone has, ( we don't service that prison)

Before my Tracy was murdered by Mississippi, his were almost as bad, I payed 18.95 for 15 mins. And to make matters worse sometimes it took 3 or more recalls to get the 15 minutes in. I went to the phone vendor and fought with them for months, but they refuse to give any credit for anything over 5 minutes.

To bad they all aren't like the Feds, $2.75 for 15 minutes and they can pay for it, so no collect phone calls.

To top it all not only do you pay 35.00 for a phone call from David, that isn't including taxes and that stupid universal connectivity charge, which is 11% of your phone bill. Not a month goes by that my phone bill isn't 600.00+ and that charge is always 100.00+

Well I will attack the information you gave me tomorrow and I will let you know the results.

I couldn't make my house payment and bills if my phone bill was that high! He would have to call me even less
