Angry Newton Texas(ADC inmates)

Help spoke last night to my guy who was transfered to Newton Tx he is a Adc inmate(Arizona ..well due to overcrowding they contracted with this out of state prison well...the contract is up in June and the state of Arizona has cnotracted two other prisons ..well the inmates still in Newton are getting it bad ..I think that because of no renewl of contract they are just waiting out their time ...my guy says ..no water or electricity is a big problem the ceiling is dripping ...no bathroom facility if theres no water haveing to go in plastic baggies ...fights and the cos are not writing any one up they are getting away with anything ...I am afraid ..things will escalate ..to a riot or something ...do you think it is wise to notify news channels or newspapers about whats going on ..in light of what happened in Lewis I am sure the public doesnt want that situation again ..any advise....please help me do something

Girl, I feel for you. I'm soooo sorry to hear the BS thats going on in Newton. I don't know what advice to give you. It wouldn't hurt to call the local news. Have you spoke with anyone at Newton, possibly just calling out of curiosity, saying maybe you've been watching the weather. I'm sure they would say everything is fine. It's worth a shot to call. I'll keep you and Luis in my prayers and hope this gets resolved soon, real soon !!!
