Default Halfway House in Abilene, TX

Hi yall! We have a friend who was just given an FI1 after 31 years!!! He is finally going home or at least getting released from TDC, the sad part is he does not have any family to go to and is looking for a halfway house that will take him.

He is being paroled to Taylor County in Abilene - I found the halfway houses listed here on Prison Talk, but they will not take him because of his crime (murder).

If anyone knows of somewhere that we may contact to see if they can help him, we'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks for any info you may provide.
