Default his son at x-mas

I have a question. (As always) Christmas is comming soon and I have a feeling that my Fiance' is still going to be locked up still. Well he has a son who he has never seen(so obviously I've never met) that lives in another state. He talks to him on the phone so they do have a relationship. Well his son is going to be 5 in december and he doesn't know his daddy is in jail. I want to get him a birthday present and christmas present from his dad but 1.I have no idea what to get him and 2.if how his mom would take it. any suggestions? I'm going to post this in the other forum as well.

A five year old will be easy and fun to shop for. Just hang out in Toys R us and watch what the kids are throwing a fit over.

Mail it to him from Daddy and I think it will make him smile and think how special he is daddy sent him a present.

His birthday would be a good time to do this too.

If his mom don't like it she just won't give it to him Just a chance to take. At least his Daddy can tell him when he is 18 years old that he tried.

I agree with Torrey...and I think you are very sweet to be thinking about his son....My son travis is 5 and I know that he is into cars/trucks and anything to do with Bob the builder and Spiderman...I don't think you can go wrong as long as you make sure whatever you get him is age appropriate...also stuffed animal as well could be nice becuase it could be something he can hug when he missed his father....I wouldn't worry about the mom...if she is a good mom then she will encourage contact between her son and his dad, otherwise I agree with Torrey -your boyfriend can say that he made an attempt to be in his life....have fun getting a gift!

I agree--send it--and put from his daddy- I would also suggest sending a picture of his dad if you have one- in a cute frame!
