Default Do they release inmates on the weekend?

I would like to know if your loved ones release date is on a Saturday will they still be released that day or do they make them wait?

My husband's release date was sentenced on 6-24-11, he's still property of the TDC. I hate to tell you this, but I have been waiting since June. I hope yours goes better than mine....aggravation, aggravation

I think it just depends on the PO and the Prison.. My Daughters Dad is on High Control and I know hes been release twice on a Saturday.. They have to report in 24 hrs or the next business day.. Unless they have special instructions..

My husband was released on saturday march 19th =) so yes they do release on saturdays... I dont know the name for it but for some inmates they have to report to parole within 24 hours like someone stated above so they would not be released until sunday or monday... I wanna say its high control, but one of the ladies said her daughters dad was high control and got released on sat... You can call the parole office where your from and ask them =)

id listen to the cali ladies texas wouldnt apply here but in my experience the only time ive heard of them not paroling on a weekend are in cases where the parole agent himself wants to pick up the parolee and it DOES happen on occassion but your guy would have to be a complete fart knocker lol for him to be that bad that his po would want to personally pick him up lol, my man was a big jerk back in the day when he got out of pelican bay in 2000 and the po picked him up then but all that happened is they brought him back to our county and processed him and took him home

We are only required to pick-up parolees if they parole from the SHU or are in a mental condition that makes them unable (as determined by a doctor) to go via public transportation.
