On Easter going to Riverview, Ogdensburg, Gov, Watertown and Cape Vincent, the bus engine cut off at the toll booth to Delaware Water Gap at 2AM. the driver said she was out of gas. The bus sat there until 6AM. After they got gas, the bus still wouldn't start. When they did start it at 6, they knew it was not going to make it upstate so they turned around back to NYC. When the bus got to NYC, it was surrounded by four cop cars, who called their bus inspector. The bus had numerous violations including missing one of the back wheels, no brake lights etc., plus the bathroom was stinking so bad, the first cop who walked on, only went to the first step and stopped-told the driver to open the windows. The driver was then told to park the bus, because it was unsafe to drive and it had to be towed back to the depot. This company endangered everyones life on that bus.Needless to say, noone got to their visit, the owner would not refund the money, but only offered another ride another time. noone on that bus really wants to drive with Flamboyant again with such disregard for people.
That sounds so HORRIBLE!! Its ashamed that they would allow families travelling so far to ride on such a bus. Just a disgrace! Flambouyant needs to be ashamed of themselves!!
Very scary ... I usually drive myself but sometimes I just want to ride and try not to build up miles on my car. I've never ridden w/Flambouyant but I have had a couple of issues w/other companies ... this past weekend I was on Prison Gap and the driver didn't have a clue how to get to the facilities. Thank goodness there were riders who knew stuff otherwise we would've been wandering around central New York for who knows how long ... there has to be a better way!!!
