well we got married on 9-21-02 cool ha i was so happy but so sad at the same time... it was crazzy a few friends his family my son and i went to susanville on friday a day before our wedding to get the marriage licence well that night two girls tryed to steal my car...crazy ha... well then the next day we were all happy and all thinken we were gonna get to spend all day with him and atleast spend our day together well we were only able to spend one hour with him because they were on lockdown...i was so upset because i had spoke to so many people and they all had said that it didnt matter if they were on lockdown or not it would still be a physical type of visit or marrage... they lied i was so upset i started crying...the guards were being so nice that they tryed to give us a regular visit since i was misinformed but i guess the warden decided to be mean and let us get married behind glass...then when you just thought nothing else could go wrong they told me i couldnt give him his ring because we had no reciet not that i would be able to put it on him but it would of been cool if they could have gave it to him the day we got married....well even after all that we still got married and in a weird way it was still perfect cause we finally did what many people opposed to love one another and share it for the rest of our lives...the minister also blessed us in holy matrimony and thats what made it even better....im so happy...i gave him his ring the next day when i went to visit him i just bot a receipt book and wrote one up...he was very happy i could tell by the way he looked and the way he looked at me...unfortunately we could not take any pictures but when ever i can i will post one so you guys can see how happy we are...
Congrat!!! Don't let anyone steal your joy. No matter how they tried to ruin your day you still got to do what you came to do which was marry the man you love. Marriage is not about flowers and pictures or a fancy ceremony but about the vows two people are taking for a lifetime. A fancy wedding last a couple of hours but a marriage between two people who truely love one another can last a lifetime. Best wishes for your future.
mari-congratulations! i agree with yani-don't let anyone steal your joy! Hope you two are very happy!!!
