this guy tells the co's, hey your one felony away from being in my shoes.

how about a see thru bag like those dooney and bourke lunch totes with the pto logo on it? i think they would be great to bring in for visitation instead of having to juggle alot of small ziplock bags for change/ vending machines wallet medicines bla bla bla bla

OK, I have sorted out one new bumper sticker, whilst I am working on other designs.

You can find it here: http://www.cafepress.com/PrisonTalkStore.475762196

i think it would be cool for the pto store to have a big notebook with lined pages that rip out and dont have those little shreddy things on the side like they can somehow tear off the same way checks come out of a check book

I would LOVE if the PTO family would send in any artwork of their inmates. I think that it would be great if we had some inmate artwork and got to vote on it and had them printed on some shirts or sweatshirts. I think that if we got more people to see that inmates are not just sitting rotting away. If we had a big contest for the inmates it would be a great thing to keep them doing something in prison that gets their minds off of the things they are going through and it will show people that they have talents.

PTO has t-shirts, coffee mugs and other "merchandise" that are sold through cafepress. Do you need a hand navigating the site??

I'd like a tshirt or long sleeve tshirt in pastel yellow, or pink, or purple, or any pastel color that had a slogan of some sort on the front then on the back on the lower left the PTO logo. I think that'd be awesome to show support for PTO and for our men!

Hey Forum, the parents of children in prison forum might have a movement starting and we are looking to buy orange wrist bands in support of all our kids in prison. Can you offer some for sale?

Yes, as I suggested in PWCIP forum when the suggestion was made for the orange ribbons (good idea) I suggested also the arm bands in orange with PWCIP on them as an alternative to show support of our children incarcerated. You could have a arm band cutting ceremony when your child is out or keep wearing them to support everyone on PTO.

That is a great idea! I like the idea of having something to identify us, especially to one another! My husband is in prison and everytime I go out to the store I look at all the people there and I try to imagine how many of them either have been in prison or have/had a loved one in prison.

I wonder if the BOP would allow you to wear them for visits if they knew what they were for.

Not understanding the question here, you can pretty much wear whatever on your wrist during visits, at least I have. You just take off any watches etc. they may set off the alarm when going through.

Are there any new designs for 2011 besides the CML line?

Yes there will be, once we get all the server work done and can concentrate on getting some new ones going.
Any suggestions?

Ok, I LOVE the idea about the pens and pencils. Especially the mood ones! I meet a lot of people who come to visit their family in prison since I work the front desk at a hotel where there's a prison so I'd like something relatively cheap that I could buy and I think the kids that come with them alot would like the mood ones. What about a magnetic cling for your car in the shape of a ribbon like people have to support soldiers, but maybe orange in color?

Hello,

I am a photographer who lives in Virginia. I photograph everything from the mundane to the insane! I'd be more than happy to supply origional, interesting photographs to PTO for use as postcards, bookmarks, etc. I thought the ladies (and gentlemen!) might like to have a variety of items to send to their loved ones- something they won't find in stores, that will benefit PTO directly.

PTO can upload the photos to cafe express & create their own items; or I can print/ship if given adequate time.

I would donate photos to PTO (though I would keep copyright)- all proceeds to benefit PTO. The photos I take are generally of the mountainous regions of Virginia and it's wildlife/fauna; quirky signs, buildings and situations; old or abandoned houses, automobiles or metalwork. Does that sound interesting to anyone?
