California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, Corcoran (SATF)Topic and discussion specific to CSATF- Substance Abuse Treatment Facility located at Corcoran State Prison in California.
My name is Amy, I'm 28 and have 2 beautiful little girls. My oldest is 8 and my little one turns 7 today. My kids are from a previous relationship, but have been down to visit my husband since his incarceration. Their biological father doesn't have any contact with them. I live up in Seattle, Wa but my husband is currently doing his time at CSP-Corcoran. Before transferring there he was at Wasco and SVSP.
We've been best friends for 8 years, and will celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary May 25th. Depending on good time credits, he has 4 to 6 more years to do. Although that can change with each new law they pass.
I try to go down every other month, it gets expensive to fly and rent a car. But right now he got his visiting privileges taken away for 3 months, so I can't go down until after May 14th. And then it's going to be behind the glass for 3 months.... which sucks but at least I'll be able to see him and have a conversation that lasts longer than 15 minutes.
How often do you visit your man kreepsgirl?
If they are in Corcoran 1 then yeah things can be rough but at CSATF in yard A things are cool. My husband spent about 18months there. He met lots of great people and kept his nose clean. He has been home now for 5wks, its great. Good Luck and hang in there.
