Default Dismas House in STL, MO

Does anyone know of anyone who has gone to Dismas House in STL, MO since June 2010?

Also, does anyone know if Dismas is still allowed to take prisoners? My ex claims that there was a major drug bust there and that the contract is in jeopardy so he did not get to go to Dismas this month and now must go to Farmington, MO halfway house.

Just trying to figure out the truth of the matter.

As of June 1, 2009, Dismas House in St. Louis. was under an active contract.

http://www.theinsidemagazine.com/RRc...609%202009.pdf You could just call there and ask them if they're open.

The only thing I could find about crime around there was this - but it's from July 2009.

ST. LOUIS -- A former federal prisoner was gunned down Tuesday morning, minutes after leaving a halfway house in north St. Louis.

Ronald James, 31, was shot several times as he sat in his car in the 5000 block of Cote Brilliante Avenue. He died at the scene. The scene is just west of North Kingshighway and near Sherman Park.

The shooting happened about 7:25 a.m. Tuesday, after James left the Dismas House at 5025 Cote Brilliante to walk to his car.

Dismas House provides transitional housing and services to former prisoners in an effort to help them reintegrate into society...

...The director of the Dismas House declined to comment Tuesday, instead referring a reporter's questions to Carl Anderson, the U.S. Bureau of Prisons community corrections manager in St. Louis. Anderson could not be reached.

Thanks for the update; I knew about the July 2009 killing and was aware that it was still open; I think my former love is trying to pull a fast one over on me, but that is not happening any more.

Thanks for that update.
