Default Pa Pre-release bill

Does anyone know whether that 24month pre-release bill was passed or not? And what that will mean for those that already submitted their paperwork and are awaiting an answer?

THanx!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure which bill you refer to. There is an initiative to get short-minimum inmates directly into halfway houses, but it hasn't moved very far within the legislature yet. As it stands, pre-release is still only available during the last twelve months prior to the minimum date.

Maybe it was a rumor but I thought I heard that they were trying to move prerelease applications from 18 months before minimum to 24 months before minimum.. Thanks anyway!

No such bill that we're aware of.
