Could your mail be crossing and he gets the letters after he writes you?

What facility? Gowanda,f or example, is notorious for holding up mails or 'losing' them all together. Your return address (complete) also has to be on the letters.
Is he getting nothing, as opposed to getting letters late? Are you mailing the letters yourself? Enough postage? I sometimes have to put 60 or 83 cents postage on a letter.

He's in Lakeview ,I use regular 37 cent stamped envelopes for my letters, because the last time i sent a card with a stamp on the envelope , it was returned and it said that using stamps werent allowed, that i had to use stamp envelopes and i put my address on the envelopes as well as my letters, He keeps telling me why i havent written to him, but i have. thats how i know he isnt getting my letters, and i am mailing the letters myself. Am i doing something wrong? Should I call the facility?

when my fiance was in lakeview..the mail went slooooooooow----give it time and then maybe call the facility?! plus, no stamps like that or return address stickers because it is not allowed! don't use any type of stickers!!

Default Read this!!! Important about Mail!

I WORKED IN THE MAILROOM WHILE AT LAKEVIEW SO I CAN REALLY HELP YOU!!!

First, if his name and Din# and your address are not on BOTH sides of the letter it won't ever be delivered!!! I know because they go into a bin in the mailroom if it isn't written on both sides. I saw this a hundred times a day and it's a shame for something so simple.

Second, remember that while I consider myself to be fairly intelligent, there are only two civilians that work in the mailroom at Lakeview and the rest are inmates...be sure to print very clearly!

They will NOT deliver an envelope that has too much writing, drawing, stickers etc. on it so keep it simple.

Are you certain he is in the Shock program or is he in the annex...make sure you note that on the envelope!

I am sitting here thinking of all the reasons that we were told to hold mail or send it back...I will write more as I think of them.

Good luck!
