Question Catalogs for inmates - so they can send gifts

I was just wondering if anyone knows how inmates can send gifts to family members?

Does anyone know if there is a catalog or vendor or something similar they can use to order presents and have them shipped to a family member (make that ME )?

I seached but all the threads I found were old and the companies are no longer in business.

Thanks

wow i didnt know they did or could do that, i do know that in az with the chaplain they can have someone on the outs to adopt their kids for christmas and they come to the house 1 day before xmas, its done threw a church in scotsdale called angel tree, so anyone out here in az, have your loved ones go to church and ask about the angel tree so they can get on it first, they only take the first 20-30 men that sighn up for it. its so cute as the prescents would say from daddy.

It often depends on the state, but most inmates seem to know if they can and have access to any catalogs. They also enlist family or friends on the outside who can do this for them if their DOC does not allow it.

I know that Texas state prisoners can do this because I used to have 4 pen pals in Texas and they sent me lots of stuff - even nice jewelry!

I see your loved one is in federal prison though and I don't know much about the BOP. You might go into the Federal prisons forum and ask there.

Good luck!

I found this place:

From: Gifts@JadenMooreofNewYork.com

Hello Kristi,

Unfortunately, Beaumont returns all gift catalogs or information sent as 'Refused - Unauthorized.' They are the only federal facility in the country to do so, and they provide no explanation as to the reason why gift catalogs are not allowed. We have many customers at that facility and I don't know how they get access to the catalogs unless from an outside family member of friend.

If you would like to send us your address, we can send to you for forwarding to him. Maybe coming from a family member or loved one, they will allow what they won't allow directly from the company.

You may also download both the catalog and order form at our web site also:

Thanks and have a nice day!

Catalog/Magazine is $10
Can you offer me a link to your site so I can see what type of catalog this is?
