Question Mail room..? Do the workers wear gloves when handling mail?

Do the people who work in the mail room wear gloves when they check the mail?

hmmm... good question. ive gotten a few letters from my husband that had what looked like dirt n nastyness on them- i know this most likely didnt come from my lover because hes pretty darn clean. this is a good question, prolly best answered though if you call the prison. but even doing that youre taking your chances with getting the truth.

It probably came from being handled by the Post Office. I've rec'd mail that was damage and in the little plastic bag from the Post Office w/ the generic apology "sorry we destroyed your mail".

No, workers don't wear gloves. And mail that hits the floor or road will get soiled. I've had mail arrive more than once with tire tracks across it.
