Could you explain a few terms for me? Shake down, I'm guessing is strip search of the body and search of the inmates cell?
If this is correct do I understand that they feel it necessary to do this three times a day? What would be the necessity in that except to harass?

I wonder too if you could supply or create a list of names "in charge" of this hell house. Along with mailing addresses. I don't know but I have a feeling those in charge do not realize there is this wonderful creation called the World Wide Web and now the world can see what they are doing.
Their inappropriate work ethics are being watched through Paul's letters. I'm not saying Paul is exaggerating but even if I give him the slant that perhaps it's not half as bad as what he describes that is still deplorable.

I am really surprised that his letters and communications are not stopped. Maybe after he gets some publicity they will be.

There has to be somebody with some human dignity in that place that could change things. I know they are fighting back that rules are rules and there is no tolerance to the contrary. To give slack or give in to any of the inmates demands would cause them to loose face. How many avoidable conflicts could have been stopped if someone was allowed to change bad policy and keep their dignity?

Torrey,Yes a shakedown is a cell search,and strip search of the inmate.And yes,the guards do this to who they want,when they want.I can asure you that all of Pauls accounts are true.When any one tries to confront the abuses going on at polunsky,we are told these things are done for the sake of security.I will work on a contact list,and post it as soon as I can.The number for the prison is (936) 967-8082 Thank you for your concern.God Bless................Spencer

MY LORD HOW CAN THOSE GUARDS LAY DOWN AND SLEEP AT NIGHT??
