This is all new to me, so please be patient! I am an ex-felon, having wrapped-up an 18-20 year bid...18 years ago. During those 11 years and change behind bars, I KNOW that the frequent visits from my family are what kept me sane. All these years later, I have a great job, beautiful family and recently bought a home. The one thing missing is the ability to help all my brothers I left back behind the walls. All that being said, I would like to know are there better transportation services for the family members that want to visit? I know there was an old clunky school bus that use to bring folks to Norfolk. Is there any service to Walpole, Norfolk, or the Bridgewater complex? (by complex I mean Old Colony, The Treatment Center, The State Hospital etc...the 5 or so facilities in that grouping off the access road). I have the proper licensing, and the financial ability to purchase a respectable bus...but no knowledge as to the need for such a service. If anyone out there can pass on the needed info, I would be greatly appreciative. Other info needed is...do folks desire to visit during the week, or are the majority looking for weekends? What would you consider a fair price? With the price of fuel and insurances needed, obviously it can't be free (as much as I would want that, as well). Please, if there is someone that has seen the system, and knows the need...PLEASE share your knowledge with me. Thank You for reading my post. Peace.

Hi Mistah Clean I am happy to meet you and glad that you are looking to help those who would like to visit there loved one's more often it only they could find a ride from reading others post here I would say the need is great...I can not really speak of the other facilities but do know that their is no transportation to and from the Bridgewater complex some time ago I over heard a conversation where one lady was saying that she took the train to Bridgwater and then walked with her children to the complex from the look of exhaustion on her and her childrens faces I would say that was quite the walk (they were all carring backpacks with a change of clothes and shoes in them) and by the way that day was pouring rain and it was the beginning of winter so yes I would say that lady would very much appriecate a ride from the train station...I think what you are thinking of doing is wonderful and I hope that it comes to fruitation for the many that would benefit from having a ride to see thier loved ones
