phones in the yard

Attica has now assigned phones by the last # of the inmates DIN # so Gino is worried that if certain groups/gangs end up in certain lines that he won't get to call as much or have an overall difficult time with it. This happen anywhere else?
I'll be there in 7 weeks from today-woohoo!

I haven't heard anything about that Mary but if it's alright with you, I'm going to copy this post and put it up at NYIF and see if anyone else has heard about this

To be honest Mary, I got only one response so far and it was nasty. But I'll let you know if I hear anything else. You must be getting so excited for your visit. I wonder if Gino knows Johnny, he just left Attica a couple of months ago.

Nasty? you're kidding. Where is there room for someone to be like that? People never cease to amaze me. Yes, I'm excited however I'm having sooo much trouble with my son that I hardly have time to think of my visit. Gino has been there 5 years so it's quite possible he knows Johnny. Can't remember what block he's in... i think B. He's in the maintenance dept. and goes everywhere inside so Johnny's probably at least seen him. He's a short italian biker (long hair & tats) Do you live around there? I was so hoping to make a friend near there to hang with since I'm always alone when I go. Plus it amkes me sad that I don't have anyone to be a witness at the wedding.

Mary,

John's got short hair and tats, he's got no movement because he's an escape risk but I'm going to ask him if he knows Gino, missed his calls tonight though. I live in Long Island, nowhere near Attica sorry. Are you still having trouble getting onto NYIF because Heidi the girl who started the group, her husband is at Attica along with a bunch of other ladies. Heidi travels from New Orleans too so you guys should really hook up.

Sometimes the ladies in NYIF have too much NY attitude, I got a response saying oh well, they're in prison, deal with it, but the manager responded to it, I won't even respond to people like that!! Not everyone there is as great as everyone here!!

true...I find so many people come here w/support. I can't really recall one very nasty response that I've seen yet, but I hadn't at NYIF yet either.
