Default RPF vs Arkansas PRISON

Can someone tell me why some that have been to RPF call it prison ?
From what I understand, RPF is a drug treatment programn.
Its not a penetentiary, they are not on DOC website.
I`ve read that the little rock has no bars, dont know about the rest.
It sounds like we need more RPF`s for addicts to get out of the prison system.
Also is mcphearson for women rpf or prison ?

RPF is run by the department of community correction. It's a correctional center something like a prison. Its for a lot of non violet offenders and parolees that have their parole or probation provoked. McPhearson is a women's prison.

Does someone that is going to prison on his 4th dui or dwi for 6 years, go to RPF or will he be going to an actual prison facility? My friend's been in RPF a few times.

Default rpf v. prison answers

RPF is a drug treatment program, I was just released, people in the RPF program are now on the ACD website because there are in treatment, yes you are locked up but you have more freedom then in ACD, we do need more programs like these.

Default Rpf

He will go to RPF probably Texarkana....if he gets another one after he gets out, he will probably go to somewhere besides RPF. Now this is as long as he has no violent convictions. RPF is an actual prison facility; the layout is just different and the structure is tighter.

Default Rpf

it is prison tho. It is just structured differently and laid out like a college dormatory. But you are a convicted felon and it is prison. McPherson is for habitual and violent offenders, along with women with delivery charges.

Default Prison...

Because it is prison; if you are convicted of a felony, you more than likely are going to prison unless you have a good attorney that can get a deal made. RPF is no different than any other prison; it is prison. It is just structured differently and the layout is like a college dormatory. It is a drug treatment program, yes. You are not behind bars at all. More RPFs won't keep addicts out of the prison system. If you are convicted and given time, you are in the prison system. McPherson is for habitual and violent offenders.
