Default What does "inactive" mean?

I went to the DOC website to see if my ex-husband was still in the lexington a & r center, but it shows that he's "inactive". What exactly does that mean? Should I be worried?

They usually put Inactive if he is being transferred to another prison.

Hi silentvison and welcome to PTO and the Oklahoma forum. Like JoshGrady'sgirl stated this probably just means he is in transient status and/or the DOC website just hasn't updated his new location. I have had it take as long as a week to get the info on a loved one updated.

But there's a really handy website to hrlp track any/all movements of any inmate in county jails or OK DOC.
It's called Vinelink. You can add his name and you will be notified when he's being transferred or is in a county jail say for a court appearence, etc.

Just go to the OK Vinelink home page, click the "Search & Register" tab, click the 'continue' button on the disclaimer page and it will load the search page. Just type in his info..name and/or DOC # and click "search".

Follow the promps on the inmate search page. You can then select how you prefer to be notified either by phone or an email. It's great and is update more frequently than the OK DOC Inmate search.

you should be able to call Lexington and ask where he was transferred to if it hasn't appeared yet.

Default just looked up DH

I just looked up my husband on Vinelink, and it says "out of custody" reason: general release. WHAT? and he hasn't called yet?
Does this mean something else? {:-Deb

Smile

Not to panic ladies! They may just be in between facilities or something like that so just keep checking on vinelink as it usually updates a bit quicker than the DOC look up.
