How does the thought of 2012 come to you?

So I'v been thinking and my freinds have told me this and I was wondering on your thoughts. Bc Kyle isn't gunna be released until after 2012. Everybody has mentioned that you the whole myin"sp?" thingy about the world ending in 2012. How do yall think about this. Me myself I beleive in the bible and there is to be so much going on before the world ends, but it does cross my mind. Kyle and I aren't together, but im treating it as we are and we have never got together or anything, so my friends have said that it would suck if it did end and I never did get to be with him.

What goes through yalls mind knowing that they say its gunna end in 012 and your men are still gunna be in jail? Just something out of bored dumb.

There is a great deal of discussion on what will happen on 12/21/2012. Just do a search using that year or date. There will be lots of earth quakes and tidal shifts as all the planets align. You know how much tidal movement just the moon causes. Now multiply that by 10. Also the mystery planet "X" is due to reappear and the last time it passed by the earth it is claimed to have caused the great flood. Other theories include a global axis shift leading to a new ice age when the poles shift from N/S to E/W. The scientific community is now agreeing that there will be serious catastrophes around the world.
The Bible does talk about these events as well.

But do your own research on the Web. There is a great deal of material available.

uhh i havent really heard of this. greg will be home by then so thats not a worry.. but either way, yeah i havent heard about.
remember the new millenium, the big 2000!! wow the world was going to end, we were all preparing, it felt like a big thing! were all still here though and the world sure didnt end.

well since i know nothing of this topic, im just talking out of my ass

im tired and dont tend to believe in any of this kind of stuff, but again i havent even HEARD of this soo..

i just dont know!

I heard so much about it! In school and on the news. I truly think that the wrold will end when Jesus and God say it will. My mom says that the plants are supposed to align and it does something to the claendar, but I'm hoping I go when I'm old and I'v had kids and grand kids and great grandkids and have lived a full filled life. It was just a thought that came into my mind bc as much as I believe we are still gunna be here it still kinda makes me get worried. :anixous:

There are some very good documentaries about 2012 on You Tube. Search 2012. I tried to put in the specific item link but it wants to run on PTO so I had to take out the link. Go down to the one that has SIX parts in the left column. " December 21 2012 The End?"

I googled it and watch the news info on youtube. I was just wanting to see other peoples thoughts on how they feel about there men being in still past 2012, like mine.

I have heard the reports too.

It always makes me kinda sad....hubby is due out in 2011....that means I have about a year and a half before the dreaded 12-2012.....

Seems that would be unfair since we met in 1986......were not together again till 2006..

We already lost 20 yrs...now this????

Seriously, the tales of the end of time and terrible things happening have been going on forever....

My parents thought the cold war was goanna get them...they are still here.

Then people were worried that the year 2000 would bring something horrible...not too bad.

I guess we got no choice but to hope for the best.

Truth is, none of know what will happen today or tomorrow, much less in 2012. We should live each day as it might be our last....try to right a wrong, ask forgiveness of those we hurt, love one another, treat people as best we can and leave as little hurt behind as possible.

It does make me anxious to think about what 12/21/2012 could bring, but if I really sit and think about it, today and tomorrow make me anxious as well. If you pray and believe in spiritual guidance, then take that path and have faith. If following another path brings you peace, then rely on that. None of us is guaranteed a tomorrow.

My man will be home at the latest in July of 2010....I do hope he and I are able to see our dreams and goals come to pass together. (If not and the world does end in 2012, I hope we go together holding on to one another.)

Hmmm, my husband is up for parole in June of 2012. I wonder if we could use this as part of our plea?!?! I really hope that life keeps going. I want to grow old with my husband and watch our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. But what will be, will be. I am so glad that I do not know the future because I like being able to enjoy today.

I personally do not believe that there will be a particular date on which it all comes to an end but if there is, if on one preordained day we're all going to wake up and find that... well, that we did not wake up then it seems silly to me to have wasted a single minute of the days remaining between now and then worrying about something that cannot be altered.

my cousin wass tellin me about this and shes 10 lol..wen a lil girl tells u this u have 2 wonder my husband makes parole june 2012 and sometimes i do feel like its a reason y god bought us back 2gether but at tha same time i feel like maybe tha world is goin 2 come 2 an end maybe the only time we wil be 2gether and spend time 2gether is thru prison but we dont know when the world is coming 2 an end only god knows and when that day comes we have 2 accpeted it...its kinda scary when u think about it i wass just thinkin about it last night and it wass like wow all of us is goin 2 die when judgement day comes and we all will be at tha gate seeing if we made it 2 tha pretty clouds its scary but i try not 2 think about it much i just want my baby 2 come home in 2012 and we can move on but it is kinda odd that peoples say that 2012 is goin 2 be the yr that the world comes 2 an end and tha yr my baby comes home.. i want 2 grow old with my husband and have babys with him i want life 2 keep goin GOOD LUCK LADIES

Couldn't agree more - I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm not wasting any time worrying about it. However, I was diagnosed with cancer in July, just finished chemotherapy for it.. & my guy's max out date is January 2013, so I always joke with my friends about it. I will be one incredibly angry chick standin' at the Gates of Heaven.. after all of this time fighting only to end up where I was trying to avoid until I was good & ready!!!

Technically 12/12/12 is the end of the Myan Calender not then end of the world. Like most predictions it's highly unlikely that anyone can pin point the exact day of any specific event... For all we know next Monday is the end of the world and none of us will get to be with our loved ones again.

As for how I'd feel about that; to be honest when the world ends people will be past the point of being able to care about it. Like most major events in our lives the WORRY preceding an event generally is worse than the aftermath.
