Question Looking for a criminal defense attorney in Twin Cities...

Anyone know of a good Criminal Defense attorney that deals with a good amount of Federal cases (someone that knows whats what in the Federal system)? I need to consult with one in MN, St Paul/Mpls asap.
Thanks in advance!

You might try talking with someone in the Federal Defender's Office - they usually have a lot of expertise - and it wouldn't cost you anything.

Here are 2 good sources for finding defense attorneys:

martindale. com
choose criminal in the practice area.
people who subscribe will have their resumes on there and there is also a rating system.

Ntl Assn CRim Defense attorneys
nacdl.org
http://www.nacdl.org/publicdirectory.nsf/Directory

at the top there is a contacts tap and go to "find a lawyer" enter city and state and check off "match all"

NACDL is member organization (lawyers) and an excellent source of information and some of it is available to the public.

I know several good lawyers in that area. Bruce Hanley, Ron or Steven Meshbesher are all in Minneapolis.
