What county was he sent from?? If it was from LA County you can search the inmate locator and it will tell you what state prison he was released to. Good luck sweetie!!

If he was in Santa Clara County Jail, he probably transferred to San Quentin in San Rafael. You can try calling the prison directly at 415-454-1460. Good Luck.

If you post which county he was transferred from and if he is in on a parole violation, or a new commitment, we can help you determine a little easier where he went.

LA County does not have an inmate locator for Los Angeles. Everyone needs to call Sacramento, but if he is in LA COunty he could have went to Lancaster reception or Delano. Oh and I beleive Los ANgeles also goes to Donovan.

Actually it does...if you check the inmate information @ www.lasd.org for LA County the site will tell you custody release to whatever prison they went to. Oh and they have been sending them to Wasco too.

Yea, if you go on the inmate locator on lasd.org they might still have where they sent him. If not call the inmate locator number, it's a 916 number. LA county could go to LAC, Wasco, or Delano. Don't worry, he'll probably write you as soon as he can. Good luck.

Since he is your son, you obviously know his birthdate, just call the INMATE LOCATOR IN SACRAMENTO. See info below.

They can tell you where he is located, which prison, then just call that prison, ask for Records and they will give you his housing/address.

You can go to the CDCr website to look up the prison address/phone, and other info as well.

www.cdcr.ca.gov

Good Luck!

To locate an offender within the jurisdiction of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation you can call the Identification Unit at (916) 445-6713. You must provide the full name and the month, day and year of birth or CDC identification number for the subject of your inquiry. This unit can only provide you with the current location and CDC identification number for the offender. The Identification Unit does not have and will not provide any future release date information. This service is available only Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. excluding state holidays.
Please note that information for offenders recently admitted into or transferred between state prisons may not be available for 7 business days.
