We All Have Been Writing Hoping For The 65% Law To Get Passed Again Well I Hate To Say It But I Feel As If We Are Wasting Our Time Look On Doc Site See Bush's Budget The Millions For Doc , He'll Never Let The Law Get Passed What We Have To Do Is Work On Bush Not Getting Into Office Next Election

I myself was wondering if there was a term limit law for the govenor in FLorida...GOSH I hope so! And yes, he took 66 million from reserves for the DOC budget

yes all gov's have a four year back to back term limit,so he cannot be re-elected.Thank god!!!!!!!!

I'm with you guys...the Jeb Bush is the biggest corrupt moronic man to ever come into office in the United States. I cant wait for him to be OUTTA HERE!!!

Let's also hope & pray that we don't get stuck with someone just as bad or WORSE than "good ol Jeb". If you live in Fl., then make sure you keep up with who's running and then VOTE! If you're not registered then do so immediately. We have to vote and make sure our voices are heard! There are enough of us being affected by the doc that if we voted and wrote to our rep. & congressmen, we COULD make a difference! This site is a great support system, but the politician's are why we have to have something like this, a "shoulder to cry on", a willing ear to listen to our problems, etc. A politician's bottom line is to do whatever is necessary to get elected, if we made our number's known we might be listened to. And the only way to do that is to register and vote. We CAN get their attention!

Raifordgirl's right on...I really believe that changes could be madeNOW if people really rallied up.I am doing everything I can to let everyone know.At the visit today I told alot of people while we were waiting.No-one knew about it except one girl who said don't even bother.But you can't give up.tell people.I sure would rather the new budget money go to education rather than the prison system anyway.I told people who to contact and how to find out about the bill.They were very interested..so keep on sreading the word.......

I definitely agree with Raiford girl. Apparently sometime in 2001 they was something on the ballot which allowed the govenor solely to appoint to the Fl. Supreme Court. So we will be left with Bushs' legacy for some time. Previous to that nominations came from the governor, bar association etc.

We need to watch every ballot and be ableto make informed decisions about jusges re-elections as well as the dog catchers.

Let's hope and pray that Jeb is voted out of office he is so against second chances if it were up to him he would keep everyone who is in prison there for the rest of their natural lives working like slaves on a plantation. prison is a big business

Yeah old Jebby wants our men to stay in prison forever...It seems he did not notice that his own daughter is just like many or ours...drug addicted! But how much time did she do...that is right, none! Maybe when she reoffends he will see the truth...oh yeah that already happened, twice! While she was at the drug center daddy got her into. Is it me or should she be at her third strike? Doing some hard time under the prison releasee reoffender act. With no gaintime, and very little hope. Am I the only person who feels this. He is so unfair!
