Unhappy Update on Christie Michelle Scott

Scott joins women on death row

In less than a year, Christie Michelle Scott has gone from living in a nice home on a quiet street in Russellville to living in a cramped cell at Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women in Wetumpka.

My thoughts arewith Christie and all involved.

How the heck did she get to trial so fast? I don't understand how her atty could have prepared to defend a capital case in such a short time.

I am surprised that your surprised. The idea is to get from incident to gurney asap. The less that goes on from incident to gurney, the lower the costs involved. Fair trials in capital cases - when?
