Default Unsanitary conditions

I got a letter from my husband today telling me that every meal that he has been served since being in the Texas county jail has had cockroaches in it. They also have an infestation of mice. Most of the commissary has been eaten open by mice he has found mouse droppings and one inmate even for a dead mouse. Not to mention there is an inmate there that has scabies and a staph infection that is not being treated. I understand that they are not in a five star hotel but, these conditions could make them very ill. What can I do to bring this to the appropriate person’s attention?

Just when you think you’ve hit rock bottom, some A**hole throws you a shovel.

Hi G

Texas County Sheriff's office is in direct violation of the OK State Health Dept codes for county jails operations...report them to the county health department!

Terri Salisbury, Administrative Director
1410 North East Street
Guymon, Oklahoma 73942
(580) 338-8544

Gross! Just the nasty food being served there should rack up several violation write-ups if the county inspection does the job right and the untreated staph and scabies...big problem if left untreated!

Turn their slacker-asses in first thing in the morning and if the county health dept. don't get them to clean up their act...take it to the state office!

You can study through the codes here:
