FLDOC - What You Need to KnowInformation relating to the Florida Department of Corrections. Q&A for those new to the FLDOC system should be posted here.
This depends on the state in question. I know for Texas, I received all this information directly from the Ombudsman's office. There also may be a hotline number that you can call and get this information. Probably the easiest is to ask the inmate themselves, as I'm sure that he/she will know this information very intimately.
Tonya, try www.dc.state.fl.us this will give you a rough idea if you look under inmate search with their DC#. They may get gaintime not included yet, they may also move the date to the begining of the release date month for good behavior. Unless they have a mandatory sentence of so many days the exact date is tough to find out. You may try to call but I doubt they give you that info. Good Luck. cl

Thanks Cheryl I have been there but I heard that the gain time was going to go back up to 65% and I was wondering if that was true or not. That means some will get released earlier. Its all confusing to me. thankyou all and have a great weekend.
