Default 2 questions: Adrian, D47 parole?

Anyone have information on a D47 parole?

And... which one in Adrian has the MPRI program? Parr Highway or Gus Harrison?

I happened to find this info for you it might help alittle. God Bless...

The Parole Board reviews cases active with CMHP and
designates them a D-47 (Deferred Parole).

The offender is then moved to a specialized Mental Health
ReEntry facility.

A Needs Assessment is completed by the treatment team and a
clinical packet is sent to LifeWays/PCS.

LifeWays/PCS then coordinates with returning county to
develop an appropriate, individualized Aftercare Plan that
addresses mental health, substance abuse, medical issues,
employment and housing needs.

This Aftercare Plan is returned to the treatment team for review
and approval and further negotiations occur, if necessary. At
the same time, the potential placement is being investigated by
a field officer.

MPRI Mental Health ReEntry Process

The Aftercare Plan is then forwarded to the Parole Board for
review and a final determination regarding parole is made.

If parole is granted, a release date is generally given within 30-40
days

LifeWays/PCS provides door-to-door transport on the day of
release and oversees and coordinates delivery of Aftercare Plan
for 6-12 months through regional care coordination

A funding stream follows the individual to assist in the payment of
services, medications, housing and transportation.

From program entry to release generally takes 150 days.

Thanks! well... 150 days will put him a few weeks past his ERD... so that's not bad.

I really think what they are doing is actually going to help him be better and be more successful. I hope it works.

He's been moved... but hasn't been seen by anyone. Except he did see his psychologist yesterday... so maybe thats a start.

Parr Highway has the MPRI Program. My husband was released out of there on December 10, 2008.

Default Hey!

Hey, my boyfriend is in the same boat. He got a D-47 on his file and he is waiting to be moved....do you know how long it usually takes!?! And then how long does the program usually last for? Are Gus and Parr the only facilities where he would go to??

Default D47, such a long process...!!!

My LO has his interview w/ the parole guy (charles brown) in Nov. at marquette. After like 3 or 4 weeks, He received his d47 while in marquette and after a week or so, he was moved to Adrian. So far, no answer. I have been calling Parole Board but not useful info. about the delay. Amy More and Chris seem to have some info according to the person who answer the phone (when he does), but they never answer the phone. The delay seems to be PCS responsability but i dont have any phone number to contact them, so we keep waiting. Iam so stressed out...
