Question work release guidelines, question?

hi all.

i'm new here.

did a search, but was unable to find what i'm looking for.

my son tells me that the rules for work release have recently been altered.

so it is now possible, to get it at 18 months remaining.

is this indeed the case?

if so, can someone direct me to where i might find the details on the net?

thanks,,,, in advance......

My son just earned working off prison grounds but he only has 8 months left. I know you have to be sent to what they call a work camp. Are you referring to work release as in living in a halfway house or work release where you have to return to the prison every night

the halfway house thing.

as, it's the only option left, now.

get this, my son was accepted and spent 10 days at the boot camp program. only to get thrown out!! because fox news did a story on him. the victims peeps bitched, to the judge, and she reversed her decision to allow him to be there.

amazing, what a lil ''tube'' coverage, did for her,, decision making process!!! :argh
