Question child support probation revocation hearing

My b/f got picked up for DUI, he hasn't went to court yet, but when he went to pay his child support, the child support probation officer arrested him, because of the DUI. The probation officer told him he failed to report it in three days and he wasn't supposed to be drinking.
Although he is current on his child support. I was told he can get a year in jail for this. Does anyone have any idea, suggestions or any input on this?

if he is on parole from prison, yes it is a violation of his probation, so yes he could go back in for not reporting it to his probation officer. it does not matter if he is current on his child support.

He is on probation from getting behind on his child support in the past, as far as I know he is current at this time.

well if it is part of his court order not to drink then yes they can put him in prison for not reporting it.
