Why they move her? ~ Harris County Jail

why would they move her from 1200. to 1307? can they still have visitors there?

Hi and welcome to PTO!

I know that 1307 was at one time a state jail facility but is now used by the sheriffs department. As far as why they would transfer your sister there, I have no idea. Was she sentenced to do a certain amount of jail time? If so, perhaps that's where she will serve it out.

They move them around sometimes. Don't be too worried about it. She should still be able to have visits but I would call the jail just to make sure.

now they moved her back to 1200 baker 4th floor? thanks for all yall do on here for everybody..she said that 1307 was like a boot camp. second floor was one big room with all the beds. privet showers, and real toilets. first floor was a big rec. room. they even got to go out side. she was only there for a week or so. my girl freind is in harris. my sister is in plane st.

girl freind has 2 mounths creit. but it does not show her getting it. release date 3-2-09...if she had got her creit. it would be 1-2-09?

She is lucky to have gone back to 1200. I was at both locations & even with being able to go outside etc., the horrible guards at 1307 (little baker) made it awful!

If she got sent back out of 1307 it had to be either for fighting, write ups or because she's on "cart" meds.

Only people classified as "L5" & not on cart meds can be at little baker - though sometimes they screw up & send people who don't belong there over.

For some stupid reason they reclassified me & told me it was a priveledge to go to little baker. HA! they could have kept that "priveledge" - YUK!
I'm sad for the people I know that are still there.

If your friend is still at 1200 & not on card meds, maybe she can volunteer to be a trustee. THat makes the time go by SO much faster & you get an individual cell

they moved her back to 1200 becases they put her in new choiches. when did you get out . she went in 9-3-08. you might have seen her.

Oh! I totally forgot about new choices. Yes, I would have been in little baker at the same time she was. Possibly at 1200 as well. I was a "floor worker" on the 4th floor for 2.5 mos. so I got to know a lot of the inmates at least by their face.
