Unhappy Who's hiring in Parolee's Housotn, TX?

My honey will be home in baout nine months and I need to strat looking for work for him. He is incarcerated in Cali but will parole here to Houston. Where can I start looking? Does anyone know of a company that is known to hire parolees?
Please help, I have to return info to him asap!

Mari--

The only one I know of off hand that will hire without blinking about a prison record is Off shore work... that is the best place that I can suggest starting. Maybe check with the local Workforce commission here in houston and ask them if they have any listings, etc.. of anyone in Houston that will hire a man with a record....

Good luck to you... hopefully I will be in your shoes in the next 6 months.... If you need a friend - Im close to Houston...

Thank you Lisa, I'll look into it. It's just kinda hard because I am new to Houston myself. I mean it was hard enough to find work for myself(with a clean record) let alone my hunny who has his prison record...

Have him try some of the Temporary Employment Agencies. A lot of employers try out potential employees this way and if they like you they will overlook a lot of stuff. That's how I got a job here.
