He isn't coming home afterall

I just recieved word today that my guy will not be home in Febuary.His new parole date is Nov.29,2004 and he is headed to the SHU.No phone calls anymore,no contact visits,nothing.I have not been able to stop crying since I read the news. We had big plans for his release,a late Christmas celebration etc. I am so sad I can hardley stand it and I just want to wring his neck for getting in this amount of trouble right before he was to come home.God I was going crazy not being able to speak to him for the 2 weeks he has been in isolation now it will be a year while he does his SHU term.2 and a half months from now I was going to be able to hug him,kiss him,hold him.Now it's a year and I believe that is if we are lucky.I don't understand everything he said about his new case but he did send paperwork for the DA for a trial to run his cases cuncurrently so I don't know what that means.If they deny it will that be more time then the Nov 2004 date? I'm so confused and won't get answers to my questions for weeks!! He said he hasn't gotten any of the mail I have sent,no money,no envelopes,anything.

I'm terribly sorry, I know how difficult it can be. I read about your 1st visit, it was so nice to hear, reminded me of the happy times together. Now you have this to deal with. Try not to be to hard on him, now he's only got time to think about everything, including his future. This bit of trouble he's found himself in might not have been his fault, how can you help yourself when trouble comes your way in that place. Well just keep thinking of that day when he comes home and lets all hope the mail speeds up a bit.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear this news. Just pray that things will work out for the best. Hopefulley the DA will throw the case out. I will keep you in my prayers.

Eve I'm over being mad at him I was just so shocked and was wrapped up in thinking about how bad I hurt.I know it's worse for him and I also know that it could of been something out of his control

Thanks Joanne.I miss talking to him so much I got a great new place and just wish I could share it with him in person or at least by phone instead of letters that take so long I'll be moved in by the time he knows about it!

I will probably go see him again in a few months when the weather is better.

It's still really tough to take but it's getting a little easier as it really sinks in more that he won't be home for a year.I'm having the most trouble not being able to talk to him on the phone anymore esp with the Holidays.I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks and that is bothering me,not only do I miss him but it makes me worry a little as we were waiting to hear when he would be going to the SHU and also if the DA was picking up the case to prosecute which would mean more time.
I don't even know if he got any of the Christmas stuf I sent him.All I wanted for Christmas was a letter from him I just worry and wonder if he is handiling all of this ok....Not hearing from him at all sucks!
