Countdown to the 23rd!!
Hey everyone,
You're all invited to my wedding on Friday, August 23rd in Salinas Valley State Prison, Soledad, CA., sometime after processing (they say you have to be in the visiting room by 2:00PM or your wedding might be cancelled and visiting is supposed to start at 1:30PM, but we're lucky if the bus picks us up by 1:30PM for processing!!). Anyway, you are all invited. OOPS, I forgot, only 5 visitors allowed at a time and you all need to be approved. It's a prison thing!! O.K., forget that. O.K., I know. Next best thing. I'll meet you all on Cannery Row Saturday evening for my reception!! We'll have a blast! Who's buying the champagne??
He's soooooo nervous. His first time. Only my second, but God led me to him, so I know it's blessed!!
Love to you all!!

Now I'm Getting Nervous
O.K. Tomorrow's the big day and now I'm getting nervous!! Maybe it was just too much coffee this morning As of tomorrow afternoon, I will be Mrs. Lyndon John Jackson. My husband 'Jacc' says he's been dropping things all week, wasting coffee, dropping his plastic ware, etc. etc etc! He's the one that has been nervous for the last month. It's his first time taking the vows and as we both have committed... the last time we take them
Please keep us in your prayers! Here's to praying that all goes smoothly and there are no glitches that the prison comes up with tomorrow.
Love to you all! I'll be back on Sunday night & will check in to see what you've all been up to.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Lyndon John Jackson
All I can day is "God's favor!" Everything went perfectly!! The bride wore light pink floral. The groom, a freshly starched, pressed and creased navy denim tux. The groom's father, Rev. Larry C. Jackson performed the ceremony. No guards required in attendance in the little room off of visiting (even though Rev. Jackson is not a staff chaplain & we were told we would have to have a C.O. in the room with us). Seven visitors (including the bride of course) were in attendance and cleared through, even though the limit of visitors is five A beautiful reception followed, with many in attendance. We considered a dollar dance, as we knew there would be many dollars in the room, but felt that might be pushing it a little bit. LOL
Chronos were approved for extended visiting until 8:00 PM on Friday evening, so we partied late into the day. Refreshments included micro-wave popcorn, chicken cordon bleu sandwiches, plenty of drinks to go around and of course, a rainbow assortment of M&M's. All vending machine fresh, as of ??????????????????
On Saturday, the new Mrs. visited her hubby for the day. We had so much fun and laughed so hard that some of our friends who didn't know we had tied the knot on Fri., were teasing us. We told them we were on our honeymoon and could laugh as loud as we wanted to. They all just cracked up. I must say that with all the mess we often have to put up with, and the circumstances we are surrounded with at the prisons, all were extremely pleasant to us this weekend. No attitudes at all. It was great!!
Will post more tomorrow, but I just got home after three grueling days of travel and although elated and in love, am truely exhausted. Gee, you'd think we actually had three 7/24's alone, behind closed doors Oh well, next battle is family visits back for the lifers in California. Better yet, getting the change in the 3 strikes law through. I am sooooooooooo tired, I can't even see straight
Pictures to follow after obtaining copies from polariods & sending to Fed-X to post for me.
Thanks for all of the lovely posts & warm wishes! I love you all!!
