HI, I WAS GOINING UP TO SEE MY SON THIS WEEKEND BUT I CANT FIND MY ID I HAVE A DRIVER LICIENCE BUT IT JUST EXPIRED A WEEK AGO. DO YOU THINK THEY LET ME USE THAT ? I HOPE SO!

I'm sorry but I don't know the answer for you.I think they may NOT let you use it as it is expired but I'm not positive

hi, it's me setting here by the phone hoping he'll call so i can tell him the bad news, gosh........ darn it!....!
well thanks for the replys , i thought hard about it and desided it wasn't worth the risk, i'll just go next weekend after i go to dmv i'm sure they can give me some kind of documentation along with my id and i should have no problem, you think? i hope he understands, i try not to tell him about all the drama out her so sometimes i think he might not understand , you know how it is at the young age of 19 , reality check is around the corner. well now that i got that out i feel better..thank for being there.

I had a similar problem before I went up to PB last weekend. My Driver's License had and old address on it. And since I had to update my visiting info when I got there I wanted to make sure it had my new address. So I went to the DMV 3 days before I left, the one in Laguna Hills which usually isn't crowded and stood in line outside in the rain for 4 hours. That's right I said 4 hours. The lady in front of my was diabetic and she fainted. They made her wait outside after that. Budget cutbacks! But yes I don't blame you for waiting to travel that distance and have a problem with your id isn't worth it. But the DMV will let you keep your expired license and they give you a paper copy of the new one until the actual photo card comes in the mail. I would call visitng just to make sure they will accept your expired picture id and the paper showing the renewal.

I got sent the full visiting information the other day when requesting my double visits, I will read through it tonight and post it ASAP Tuesday AM (English time) I'm sure the info on ID is in there as well
